First day of summer

Today we had a play date with Erika and Rosalyn. They came to our house and we took a walk down to this little park by our house. It was fun and really hot. We had thought about maybe going to the pool instead of doing a walk and after our walk we thought we should swim too. So we got our stuff and headed to Erika's to swim in the pool. It was so fun! Daphne loved splashing and jumping of the edge into the water. Daphne loves her little friend. Even on the drive home they were laughing and smiling at each other, and after such a long day they were both really tired.

Parks

The last two mornings have been spent at parks! Daphne has decided she only likes to swing and NOTHING else. All I can say is my arms are tired. We have had to go out cause the weather has been beautiful. I hope it stays that way.
Yesterday was fun because we got to see an old friend from Dominica. Tanya lives right down the road from us so we may be seeing more of her and Baby Dominic this summer.
Today was play group and the more time I spend with these girls the more I love them. Today we got to fight for our children together because a crazy squirrel kept coming over and trying to eat food out of their little hands. The kids thought it was hilarious, us moms on the other hand didn't. I really didn't want my baby to get rabies or something. It was such a fun day though.

Cochran Baby #2

This post is coming to you pretty late in the game. I'm already 18 weeks, almost half way done. I really don't know why we have waited to tell the world our news for so long. Johnny seemed pretty adamant about waiting until I was 20 weeks which seems really cautious to me, but considering my history I can understand his caution. This morning though he said go ahead and tell everyone.
I'm due on Sept 1st and can't wait! The first three months were pretty hard, but I'm starting to feel a lot better lately. We can't wait to find out if this little one is a boy or girl and we are trying to prepare Daphne for it.

Easter

We had a pretty low key day. We got up and went to church which is always enjoyable, especially since Daphne has started nursery. After a very short nap Daphne got up and we hid Easter eggs and enjoyed Daphne searching for them. I had to help quite a bit cause Johnny hid some of them pretty well. We had a delicious dinner and talked to family. Pretty much a perfect Sunday.
